You have heard about it on the news. You have seen the lakes around CA go down. Perhaps you have even had to cancel events because of it, but...

 

Did you know that CA is not the only place suffering from a severe drought at this moment? Lack of water is affecting other countries too, and only if we all take immediate action will we survive the DROUGHT of 2014.

 

You  have been hired by the National Water Conservacy to educate the public about drought mitigation.

 

By completing this project, you will:

 

• Examine the causes of a drought

• Understand the impacts of droughts beyond your own household

• Compare the CA drought to the Brazil drought of 2014

• Understand where your water comes from

• Develop a plan for conserving water.
